Oct 2017 Mission news

Tom and Lynn Suchy serve with the EFCA in Ukaanbaatar, Mongolia where they partner with believers at the “Root of Blessing” church.
They also operate the “Bubbling Springs” multi-purpose facility which serves the local community and provides employment for Mongolians.
They have spent this year in Florida with their children. Tom was in Mongolia for a few months for the APEX summer mission experience, in which son Zack also participated.
Please pray for them and their children:
Emily and her husband are new parents to son Grey.
Naomi and her fiancÚ Matt are getting married in October.
Molly is attending nursing school and has struggled with her transition to life in the U.S. and is also struggling with her faith in Jesus
Zack is a second year college student who is still working on his transition. This is a difficult time for MK’s who have spent their childhood in another country.
Lynn has recently been diagnosed with inflammatory arthritis. Please pray that the rheumatologist will find the right medications and dosage.
Tom and Lynn will be visiting supporters and attending their daughter’s wedding during the next three weeks.

The Rescue Mission in Tacoma has many programs to help men and women and families. The Executive Director is Mike Johnson. The Bridges of Hope campaign begins this fall and gives people the opportunity to give financially so that the Mission can provide food, shelter and care to hungry and homeless people in Pierce County.
During the month of October, our church will be collecting
travel size personal hygiene items such as shampoo, toothpaste/brushes, deodorant, women’s feminine products, razors, shaving cream, soap, etc. These are given to people who spend the night at the Mission. Please put your items in the basket on the back table in the foyer.
